The ALP offers a conditional admission to applicants who want to attend Cal State Fullerton after attending ALP. The ALP will prepare you to become a successful university student. The conditional admission will let you know that you are qualified to enter Cal State Fullerton.

• Apply to ALP and Cal State Fullerton at the same time.
• Learn if you are qualified to enter Cal State Fullerton before coming to the U.S.
• Obtain a student visa that is usually issued for a longer time period.
• Conditional admission is available for all undergraduate majors and most graduate majors.

A conditional admission is designed for international students whose first language is not English, and who need to find out if they are eligible to study at Cal State Fullerton. Students who have a strong academic background, but lack TOEFL, may apply for a conditional admission to Cal State Fullerton through the American Language Program. For this type of admission a student studies a minimum of one semester at the ALP, fulfills the requirements of the conditional admission, then enters a Cal State Fullerton degree program the following semester.
